Hot and bitter
Quiet and alone
A little chewy
Smokey Strong Solitude
a look into the cup
reflects
the stars
dreams
ancestor spirits
the memories
of all who have spend
similar time
alone with ourselves

I like this. The line about ancestor spirits has an indian-esque-ness (I don’t beleive in confining my comments to dictionary words!) which is a witty insert in a cowboy piece… intentional or not. I am curious about the motivation for capitalizing the words in the 4th line?
I do however believe in spelling “believe” correctly! Woopsies.
