Men with huge umbrellas
The ones they let their caddies hold
On drizzle drown days
The umbrellas that perfectly match
Their winter coat and shoes
And that capture copious amounts of water
In their canopies
These men
Perfectly quaffed
Find themselves compelled
To shake dry
Drier than dry
Every drizzly drop
Onto my lunch
On to my computer
On to any remaining dry spot
On my pants or my scarf or shoes
I thank you
Gentlemen that you are
For affirming my morning’s view
Of everything
