These people that you hate.
They are someone’s child
Someone’s parent
a brother or a sister
someone’s bestest friend
don’t you see
that they are simply living
their very best lives
trying like you
to get day to day by
no one asks
cares
gives a tinker’s damn
what you do inside your own home
you’re not beaten
harassed
bullied
made to question
your worth
or maybe you are
and you’re simply passing on
the hate foisted on to you
for what reason
so you understand
that pain is okay
hate is okay
hurting someone is okay
simply because they are different from you
everyone is different
no one is same and same and same
why
in a world
of decisiveness
can’t we just
let it be
